park reservation/early park admission

I'm booking park reservations for 1 annual pass and 3 theme park tickets, all staying at SSR in the same room. (I had to book the AP separately from the regular tickets.) On the plans screen, it has park open-park close for the AP, and an arrival time for the regular tickets is at park opening. Since we have a resort reservation at SSR, I thought we could use the early entry, but does the reservation arrival time mean we can't? It hasn't even been a year since we last went, and this is all very different and confusing! Thank you in advance for your help.

That time entry thing is just a dumb thing they added when they started reservations.

As a resort guest, you will be eligible for early entry.

All of our park reservations are made via the "AP with a resort stay" bucket. Some say one thing regarding time and some say another. The time means nothing.
