 Has anyone ever gotten their parkhopper passes from ebay? specificaly the ones that expire 14 days after first use?
Going down for Easter with 8 people & looks like we could save some $$.

I personally do not buy park passes on ebay - there is no way to tell ahead of time if you are getting legitimate passes.

That said, I know some people do buy from ebay and have not had any problems.

Ask the seller more questions. Park Hopper Passes that expire x days after first use are not usually available to the general public. They are likely some type of special pass that was issued to a group (such as a convention). They often come with other restrictions. Did the seller scan the front and back of the tickets and put them on the auction so you can see what other information may be relevant to your trip? Will the tickets be valid for the time you are traveling? Sometimes these tickets must be used by a certain date.

FWIW, my advice is to investigate the many legitimate discount ticket brokers and buy from one of them. It's not worth risking hundreds of dollars to save a few. JMHO. YMMV.

I wouldn't trust buying the tickets on e-bay that expire. There are many other legitimate web sites that sell tickets. You should try: ticketmania.com; or Floridaorlandotickets.com. ; or Paramountinternationaltravel.com.

Here's another vote to NOT purchase from EBay. Walt Disney World itself and those passes are already so expensive, that's its just not worth the agony of wondering whether what was promised when sold is actually what's on the ticket you buy.

I agree with everyone else. You're taking a BIG gamble. Even if you're dealing with someone that has a high positive feedback rating, what if the person legitimately forgot how many days were left on the passes? Or, what if they were given by a relative/family member to sell, and that person forgot how many days were left?

There is absolutely no way for either the seller or yourself to verify how many days are left until you get to the gates. And, IMO, the last thing you need when you're trying to save a couple bucks is to find out that your pass is a day or two short of what you need or that it won't even work at all.

I've seen Disney World Cast Members post in threads like this before reporting that they have seen entire families in tears at the gate because their passes were invalid.

If you do decide to go the eBay route, just be prepared for the worst. And the worst case scenario is that you may have to shell out hundreds of dollars at the gate in order to get in. Just be wary of any deal that sounds too good to be true.
