I’m not sure of anyone posted this, but I just looked and park passes have been released for June and July. It’s all green now in July, before it was all yellow, amd a lot of green for June. I got the MK I had missed out on in July!

Hopefully this doesn't mean a lot more crowds. Glad you got your reservation!
I am afraid it will mean more crowds, it’s a double edged sword for sure. If I hadn’t been in need of a park pass I would have been disappointed to see it, but since I needed a day I was happy. It’s all relative I guess :confused3

October 1st is still blocked. It hasn’t opened up at all.

I saw your last thread about your park pass dilemma. Glad to see you got your park passes!!

I really hope this means something is brewing with FP. Watching more and more capacity increases is unnerving for our upcoming July trip given the wait times I was looking at this afternoon.
I don’t know what to think. I’m pretty worried about our July trip, we were always big FP people with almost no random joining a queue unless it was obviously like 15 min or less. I was intrigued to try it without FPs, to see what it would be like to actually be in a SB line that moved! But with shows closed, restaurants not open and limited, and now more and more people- what are they all going to do!? I’m afraid it will not be one of our better trips, I’m glad we have a 2 BR at Riviera so hanging in the room should be pretty nice, I hope we can get in the pool when we want to. I don’t think FPs of any kind can come back before our July trip- I think something has to give relatively soon though.

Had I not messed up and needed park passes that had been gone, I would have been kind of upset to see this. Like I said, since I needed them I had to be happy about it, but still concerned overall.

Echoing previous posters. Our trip is 12 days out- Trying to now imagine even bigger crowds with no more crowd eaters or restaurants reservations opening up. I'm trying to prepare my fam that even with our great touring plans that worked so well before, we will in all likelihood see less and wait more- Happy for everyone but worried for us-

We’re 11 days out and I’m also trying to prepare for a see less and wait more vacation. We were also big users of FP so this will be a big and not pleasant change. 😞

We are 5 days away- I check wait times periodically throughout the day. Hopefully it will be a great trip and not overly crowded.

I'll be keeping up to date on you June and July trippers - not so worried about the waits for rides (going to try to get pictures and soak in scenery this go-round!) but curious how the crowds will be for August in general. Glad we booked sit-down meals at least.

I am sitting in Beach Club at the moment.... Random thoughts. The parks "feel" less crowded than usual. Esp Magic Kingdom in front of the castle, but with so many things closed in the parks the lines are an issue if you utilize fastpass like my family does. I would have an umbrella because the lines that are "only" 30 minutes(and every line is 30-50 minutes-which to my family gets very old) have so much of the queue outside- in the sun or rain. And when it does start to poor rain it is more difficult to find a place to be dry. The umbrella is better than a poncho for lines because of the sun factor. We come in May every year and the weather is fairly nice this time, but the sun beating on you at 2:00 PM is a factor.

Also, if you are in a park like Epcot and cannot find dining on the app go up to the restaurant itself. The App is either not efficient or it is made to be inefficient. We walked up to Via Niapoli, San Angel Inn, Rose and Crown and every time we were sat within a few minutes at 7:00-8:00 PM with the app showing no availability.

There is still a lot of safety theater going on in the parks. But, if you are looking for social distancing in lines or in the park-that is not happening.

Lastly, not good or bad just an observation. Went to Universal for a day and that is a completely different animal. No mask, everything is open-basically if you did not see someone with an occasional mask it looked and feels like two years ago. Service was pretty suspect because I am sure like Disney they are getting people hired and trained. I am a Disney person, but I enjoyed the experience at Universal as it was "normal". Have fun!!
