Park passes for DISConII?? (long)

It will be interesting to find out what Pete comes up with.

The Stars and Stripes LOS passes for Holly and Meggan are $222.00 for 5 days. It'll be hard to beat that price. But who knows????

I don't stop here that often, is there a target date for any announcements? Or is there a current thread that has anything official on it?

No official word as of yet. I believe the ink is still drying on the contracts. I am unable to search the older threads for last year's 4 and 5 day convention pass prices. Perhaps someone else will have better luck.

From what I could find on a search, last year's convention passes were $202 (tax included) for a 4 day pass and $230 (tax included) for a 5 day pass. The info said they included admission to PI and DQ (don't know if that was once each or unlimited).

Hope this helps Kim!

Poor Kim......you got a little more information than you bargained for huh???

Thanks Rhonda. That's the info that I was looking for. And those prices look right as I remember them.

You definitely need to have a hopper pass to get into the MK, where the MVMCP takes place. You do need it. I did it twice last year and each time I needed my ticket to get in. If I am not mistaken it even had to be a hopper. It can not be a single day pass. Best bet, call CRO and ask..JMHO :)

That is a requirement of an E-Night, plus Disney resort guest, but not MVMCP, UNLESS, you want to go in before MVMCP. That is my understanding..................pause for a call to CRO...........no other ticket is required to get into MVMCP, per CRO.

Egads, folks!!! MVMCP is a hard-ticket event...it stands alone! As Dan and a few others have said - if you go to a park before MVMCP opens, only then do you need to use a day of admission. It's like the Night of Joy or Halloween Party...the park closes early for this!

Sorry, kim!

If I was just visiting Orlando for one day, and I only just wanted to go to the Mickey's Vey Merry Christmas Party held at the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, December 3, 2002, What do I need to buy?

All you need to do is buy one MVMCP advance ticket for approximately $34.98 plus taxes.

The Magic Kingdom will close at 5:00 P.M. that day. The castmembers will try and hurd everyone out before 7:00 P.M.

At 7:00 P.M. they will open the gates again for everyone holding a MVMCP ticket. (If the gate lines are very long they may let people in early down to Mainstreet only, like on some mornings.)

You do not need a hopper pass to get into the MVMCP event.

You do not need an annual pass to get into MVMCP.

You cannot get into MVMCP without a MVMCP ticket.

But how do castmembers let some people in early?

If they have a priority seating at the Liberty Tavern restaurarant, lets say, at 5:30 P.M., they show their MVMCP ticket and their priorty seating number and they are allowed in to eat, time their exit from the restaurant to just before 7:00 P.M. when MVMCP officially opens, and then they are already to enjoy the festivities.

If Crystal Palace was open this December, I would do the same thing as last year instead of eating at Chef Mickeys.

What if I want to enter Magic Kingdom at 4:55 P.M or earlier?

Then you would need a Magic Kingdom ticket of some form, like a single day pass or hopper pass or an annual pass, etc..

What if I don't want to eat inside the Magic Kingdom, can I get in before 7:00 P.M. when the MVMCP opens?

No.

Some people cheat and don't leave after the closing time of 5:00 P.M.. They hide or do something until 7:00 P.M. when MVMCP officially opens. You will usually notice that they don't have armbands. But I understand that last year they ran out of armbands.

So Kim...

Buy your MVMCP ticket.

Walk in at 7:00 P.M. by showing your MVMCP ticket.

You do not need a hopper or annual pass to get into MVMCP.

If you want to get into any park that day before MVMCP, thenyou would need a nother type of admission ticket (as described above.)

I think some people are getting confused because if you wanted to....let's say for example...eat breakfast at Cinderalla's Royal Table inside Magic Kingdom one morning.

They will not let you in without a daily ticket or hopper or annual pass, etc. You have to use a ticket to get in or people would cheat and stay in the park the rest of the day and not leave afterwards.

But if the Magic Kingdom opened at 9:00 A.M., and you had a priority seating for 8:00 A.M., they would let you in early enough to make your priority seating after showing your priority seating confirmation number and park ticket for the day. You can see the advantage to this. Relax, eat, take character pictures until opening time of 9:00 A.M., and then enjoy the park.

But you might be eating at the Contemporary Resort's Chef Mickeys Character dinner at 5:00 P.M. befor MVMCP.. You don't need an admission ticket to go to a resort restaurant. After the dinner you just walk or ride the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, and at 7:00 P.M., show your MVMCP ticket, enter and have a wonderful, magical Disney time with all your DISer friends.

Don't forget to get your free picture, hot chocolate and cookies.

How much does MVMCP cost? Is it offered every night?
A separate admission ticket is required.
