While we'll have 10 full park days on our next trip, we'll be there around 2pm the day before we plan to start park hopping. All I'm seeing in the way of Hopper Plus passes that expire is a max of 10 days, is this the case? Can I use a day then pay to bring the back up to 10, giving us 11 when all is said and done? Normally we do non-park stuff on arrival day but on another thread it was mentioned that the difference between a 7 and 8 day hopper is a few bucks. If we can get an 11th day for a small amount we'd probably hit Epcot that first day and park our butts in the seats shown below. Can I do this?

Thanks,
Bill From PA

No, you can only add days to a ticket that would equal another ticket Disney sells. So, you can add a day to a 7 day ticket to make it an 8 day ticket. You cannot add a day to a 10 day ticket because there is no 11 day ticket.

You might just consider getting an annual pass. Marilyn

We usually do 11 days, but we have a "rest day" so we only get the 10 day pass. We did wind up purchasing an AP though, so now that is not an issue. The above poster is correct from what I understand - you would have to buy a 1 day ticket at full price. HTH! :)

With the AP you qualify for AP hotel rates if available, and can get the Disney Dining Experience card for something like $60 thatgets you 20% off at table service restaurants

It's very worth it! :)

There is at least a rumor that 12 day passes will be available in 2007 but for now you'll have to make do with a 10 day expiring and some other pass (Actually a good opportunity to use up a leftover or use a timeshare prize.) Or a 10 day expiring with water park fun will let you do something on the 11'th day as well as give a few additional opportunities for a bottle in front of you at the Adventurers Club.

No, an "11'th day" may not be added to a 10 day pass after some of the days are used.

Thanks, everyone, that's sort of what I expected to hear. As it is we're buying one AP to get the various discounts mentioned, I priced it and we'll more than re-coup the difference between the AP + the DDE card and just getting another 10 Day Hopper Plus. We may start our 2008 WDW trip within 365 days but the AP will definitely expire early in that vacation so it won't pay to get two APs. We'll just have to content ourselves with strolling the BoardWalk that first day with a trip to PI. Yes, seashoreCM, I'll have a Corona in front of me!

I doubt anyone will have to twist your arm to get you into the Adventurer's Club that first night :)

David R,

Wild horses couldn't keep us away, and they may have to burn the place down to get rid of us.

and if you can sneak in another trip under the 12 mos deadline you will come out way ahead.......Ok, you have to pay airfare, etc :-), but your park tickets will cost close to nothing on a per diem basis.....We went in Dec 05 and Nov 06, probably got 16 days out of that pass, plus a $100 discount being a DVC member....it was a great deal!
