Park pass holder - where do you find them?

I saw a post earlier talking about a pocket with a lanyard to hold the park pass, key etc.. It said something about a pocket with a holder. I looked at staples and didnt' see anything there. Any idea where I can find one - I am not sure I know what I am looking for.

Thanks for your help.

I have seen them at Target before- called a travel wallet, I think. They were in the luggage section. The one I am referring to might not be the same thing you want- it is kind of like a nylon velcro wallet on a string that you wear around your neck.

I used mine on our last trip, and it was GREAT! Held room key cards, Fastpasses, credit cards, Disney dollars, pen for autograph book, and other little stuff. I got mine from the Passporter website. I didn't have to carry anything else with me in the parks- it was great not to feel like a pack mule.

Oh great thanks - I looked in the office supply area but not the luggage area - will check again tomorrow.

Did you find when you were on rides this was a problem or did you just hold the wallet - or stick it under your top?

Thanks again for your post!

Try walmart in the Jewelry section. I got three at Christmas for 97cents each. Each has a strap for putting around neck, a see through pouch just a little bit larger than a credit car with a plastic zipper lock (like a glad bag). :goodvibes :rotfl2: :cool1:

Never had a problem on any rides- anything that went fast or upside down, I just sort of held on to it, but some of the fast/scary rides had shoulder harnesses that held it in place. Never felt like it wasn't secure.

I bought ours at Office Depot. They are in the aisle with the labels (for whatever reason). I think when I looked at Staples they just had the lanyards, and they came in a pack of 10. They also had that safety clasp that would snap apart if the lanyard got caught in machinery. Which is great at the office, but maybe not so great at a place like WDW. The ones we bought at Office Depot are called "Conference Badge Holders" and they are sold separately - not by the dozen!

I have also seen the travel wallets at Target - the badge holder is less substantial than the travel wallet. You can't fit much in the badge holder, but it also isn't heavy. Just depends on what you are looking for, what you want to carry in there, and how much you want hanging around your neck.

These aren't waterproof though are they? (For rides like Splash Mtn or Kali, or just getting caught in the rain :umbrella: )

They had them at DTD in the large Disney store, had room for passes, money, credit card ,room key. You can wear it around your neck...It also has a key ring....cost 8.00 :goodvibes :goodvibes

Mine got a bit splashed on Splash Mtn, and everything was fine. It is made of the woven nylon material- as long as it doesn't get really soaked, it should be fine. But I wouldn't wear it to TL or BB!! :teeth:

I bought one at a stand in the MK. It is waterproof and holds our APs, room keys and fast passes.

I wouldn't call it "waterproof". We all wore them to AK on monsoon day, but we were wearing rain jackets and we ended up buying umbrellas so they didn't get THAT wet. A little splash wouldn't hurt them, but I wouldn't want to get them soaking wet.
