Park Parking pass on day 1

Lets say I land at MCO and get my rental car for the trip around 8am. Normally the resort gives me a pass / paper to get me into the parking at the parks free for my trip. If I go straight to the parks will they charge me to park on day 1, have a way to look up my reservation and not charge me, or do I just need to swing by the resort (POP) then head to the park.

It's rare to get a parking pass now. Your Magic Band will get in the parkiparking lot free.

Some resorts give parking passes and some don’t. For reference, we did not get a pass at CBR in 2015, but did at WL earlier this year. Your MB will get you into the parking lot no matter what.

We were not given a parking pass on our recent trip staying at the Yacht Club.
On the occasions that we drove to a park my Magic Band was scanned as we entered the parking lot.
