We have PS for CRT at 8:50am, the MK opens at 9am. I wish my niece and nephew could experience the park first thing in the AM when they drop the rope in Fantasyland and stuff like that, but how can we do that if the park doesnt open till 9 and our PS is a 8:50? They still let you in for the PS right??

Reservations are usually held for 20 minutes - so if you wanted to watch the opening and rope drop you can - or go in early to get picture by castle with no one by it... Enjoy!!!!

They start letting people in early for reservations only. If you have an 8:50 reservation they will let you in at the reservation entrance (far right) and you can wander Main Street up to the ropes. Only question is opening act is by entrance at 9 and rope drop at Tomorrow land is soon after. All depends on what you want to do. Congratulations on CRT breakfast!!!

ainmama2001... Breakfast reservations are the only ones allowed past the train station prior to 9am. There is a special entrance for reservations. Everyone else is held in the front of the train station (by the Mickey Floral...unless it is an EMH morning) as there is a "Morning show". The show consists of dancers at the train station and characters that ride in on the steam train. Once the show is over they will allow you onto Main Street where you can get to the entrance to the land but again will have to wait a few minutes for "Rope Drop". /

kjm4... The rope is up blocking the land and the CM's will be there from different attractions. There is an opening audio speech welcoming you to MK and then the CM's will remove the ropes and escort you into the land. This way there is not a mad rush to the attractions. With the "rope drop" they are able to make sure that you walk so people don't get hurt (or hurt others) trying to run to the rides.

Ahhh...okay. I've avoided the rope drop. I have a little one and she would rather move at her own pace than hurry like she sees everyone else doing. Not to mention, I like it better that way too!
