Park opening times on early entry days?

I've read that the parks usually open before the officially posted times so you should get to them about 30-40 mins early. Does this also happen on early entry days?

Not generally.
Figure, maybe, 5-10 minutes, if that.

However, at MK, they offer the "Welcome" rope drop show, and that will start, say, 15-20 min. before the posted EMH opening time.
