You can check betterbidding.com but if you bid on the 3.5* only under Buffalo-Amherst you will get the Marriott since it is the only 3.5* hotel listed in that category.

nice trick thanks for the info..so it is to choose 'Buffalo-Amherst' not 'Buffalo Airport (BUF)' , which is what I selected at the first place thinking if the hotel is close to the airport thats the option to go with..

btw, my trip is end of April, should I be bidding now or wait until close to the date ? I suppose we can not cancel since it is super low price ?

When bidding on priceline it is the very top one that you choose (Buffalo-Amherst) and not Buffalo airport. Also select the 3.5* category only and you will get it. You can bid $50.00 now and book it but just remember once you book on priceline your credit card is charged immediately and there are no refunds.
