Park maps...question

How often are the Park maps changed? Are they given out when you ckeck into the resorts?

Is there some way to get updated maps before arriving in WDW?

I have some older maps that friends have lent us---just to start getting a feeling for what is where.

The maps are updated as Disney feels it is needed due to changes. And they are available at the resorts and parks.

Seems like an excellent site!!

I would also consider buying Birnbaums WDW guide. It is great for park maps and ride descriptions.
