Park map - toilet question

we had a nightmare trying to find the toilets in the disneyland park and walt disney studios as the location of where the toilets were, were not printed on the map.

has this always been the case? or did we miss the toilet signs on the map??

second thing - on the map it says where the chaparral theater and the river rogue keelboats are situated. But i thought that there wasn't a show and the boats don't work anymore?

You missed the signs on the map obviously!

I got back from DLRP on Thursday and we were always using the map to find the toilets.

They are denoted by a two little people standing beside each other (look at City Hall - denoted with a number 1) to see them.

There is a show at Chaperall Theatre at certain times of year but the theatre is always there which is why it is on the map.

The keel river boats are now running again - have been for about a year

the loos were definatly on the map i had, as for the chaparell theatre, if memory serves correct i think thats where they had mickey and minnies winter wonderland ice show in february this year.

we kept coming across loos easily in both parks, though will make sure next time if i need the loo to go before we eat at the cafe agrabah as there are non in the resturant lol! we just walked past the ones by there and ended up bursting for the loo after we had eaten lol!

I'm the sort of person who needs to wee - a LOT! So when out I often worry if I won't be near a loo etc.

But all disneyparks I alwaysf= find you're pretty much in view of toilets no matter where in the park you are.

Never used a map to find them and always had them super close by. (Best ones are in the arcades! Never busy and always clean!)

I'm looking at the current park map right now - there are toilet signs all over it .

The Chaparral theater is still there, lets hope it will be used for a show in the future. And the keel boats do run on the lake from time to time (they have for the last couple of years as far as I understand).

the keelboats werent going the week b4 last when we were there. think goofys summer camp will be on in the chaperall theater for summer season.
never had a prob finding toilets, never used d map to find them either

there are a few restaurants where there are no toilets inside but there is always one just next door - we have never had a problem going out of the restaurant and back in again if needed

Did you pick that map up on your trip from the park?

The one I have on my desk at work has loads of extra details on it than the one that you have posted.

I have signs for toilets, meet n greets, information boards and restuarants on my map that aren't showing on yours

yep no parade route either.

i got this in the disneyland park!

are disney saving money by not printing these extra bits and pieces!

It almost looks like the old seperate maps that had the attraction locations and everything printed on the back rather than down the sides.

yes it had the disney studios map on there aswell.

hold on - just thinking about it - i think that i may have got this map from the magic circus hotel.
maybe this just a promo map to show where things are and not the map that you get in the parks?

i didn't think to get another map in the park - as i thought this was the 'proper map'.

just looking again it says 'get the official guide to the parks and programme at your arrival at the parks - (no exhaustive info in this document)'

that makes sense - but it might confuse people who pick up these maps instead of the 'proper map' at the parks.

Very odd

I've just looked at my old maps (this Jan's and Mar 2006) where you had one for each park and even those have all the info symbols - toilets, parade route etc - printed on the map bit. The 'double' map I've got that is from April to Nov this year has everything printed on it, presume it's the same as the one you've got Cap'nJack?

You never know you may have one that has a 'printing error' on it - and therefore very collectable and worth a fortune Unless of course Disney are cutting printing costs and they are now all the same!

That would explain it a little...shame that they are giving out confusing maps though....you'd have thought they would have just 'borrowed' them from the park
