park intel update

a little update for all those that are about to go to the park.

we are currently here at Disneyland and while walkng around in the heat we decided it was time to cool off, and what better way to do this than to take on GRR over in DCA and since we had known that this ride was not connected to the rest of the Fast Passs system we figured why not get the pass and then go get one for California screamin. Well.... to our suprise GRR IS NOW CONNECTED TO THE SYSTEM!!! so we thought we would let everyone here know since it was here that we originally learned that it wasn't connected. and so none of you make the same assumption we did.

I was just going to post the same thing! We returned last night, and were so surprised that after 8 years, GRR is finally connected.

Yeah, we found this out last Saturday too. It's connected.

There was a thread about this weeks ago...I guess it has been connected. I think they may disconnect is during non peak season again and perhaps it is only connected during peak season. Only time will tell.

Newbie Question ---- There is no connection between Disneyland and DCA though right? You can get a fastpass for say something like Space Mtn and GRR at the same time, correct?

Yes. you could have a fastpass at Space Mountain then send a speed walker to GRR and get an FP there.

Technically you cannot get a fastpass at the same time due to physics and other natural laws of nature, lol. If it is 11 am and you get an FP for 4 pm at Space mountain then you could go to Soarin or GRR and get a fastpass then at 1 pm be back in DL to get a FP at Indy.
