Park hours

Just checking park hours at Christmas and it says MK is 8 am to midnight. Since we are staying at OKW we can get in 1 hour early on select days. It also says the park stays open 3 hours later on select days--these include 12/25 and 12/30.

That means the park will be open for us from 7 am to 3 am. Is that right?

I dont know if I could stay that long but it would sure help to avoid the rush at Christmas. Take a nap after lunch and head back for a late night.

I know that on New Years Eve the park is open very late - 2 or 3 closing time.

But beware - the parks fill up fast and they have a maximum capacity! We learned this the hard way.

We thought because it was going to be such a long day we would head to the parks after lunch. Well, we got to MK and it was already closed! Epcot was also closed. So the only place we could get in was MGM. It was a great night at MGM but MK and Epcot both have fireworks early (8 pm) for those with kids who have been there all day!

Disney is an amazing place on the any day but Christmas and New Years are spectacular!
