So I've been looking at park hours because we're seriously thinking about doing some kind of DP or DP cruise. disneyworld.com and wdwinfo.com have different times listed. Which 1 would you think is correct? :confused3

Example: MK has hours of 8am-6pm EMH being 8-9am on the day of our wedding (9/15) with Wishes not happening on this night. This is according to the disney site.

According to wdwinfo the hours are 8am-9pm with Wishes happening.

:confused3:confused3:confused3 What in the world?!?! Which do I go by? We want to do Wishes if they're going to have. If not, we'll just do Illuminations. Need some help ladies.

TIA!

Always go with the official source first. Disney changes the hours around sometimes, so their site is going to have the most up-to-date info. WDW Info is an independent site whose editors may not have seen the change yet.

Also, Disney has been messing with hours at the last minute a lot lately, so it's good to keep an eye on the official site as your wedding day approaches in case anything changes a week or two out.

Is it a night with Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween party?

Oooh - good point! If it's a Halloween party night, you'll be able to see Hallowishes at 9:30pm (and it's way better than Wishes, IMHO). :thumbsup2

I don't see the dates on the Disney site yet, but according to wdwinfo.com, it's not.

But I have another question now! :rotfl: If you're allowed to dress in costume on the Halloween party nights, can you wear you're wedding dress as your costume?? :rotfl2: Just a random thought!!!

This would be great if Hallowishes was happening. Maybe the dates will change?!?! :confused3

I found the dates on the Disney site also. They're not available that night. Oh well!

its only kids who are allowed to wear costumes i believe. I'd check with your planner closer to.

During Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes. Even better, you can collect delicious candy as you trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom theme park.

That's what Disney site says. So that means everyone!! Still doesn't mean it can be wedding attire though. I do know that. But thanks for looking out!:)

I guess there's still a possibility. I read that the dates listed are the ones that are available for advanced discount purchasing. Maybe they will have it but it will be full price! :confused3

I'm a Cast member and I went ahead and checked the special site they have for us. It looks like the MK is closing at 6pm and there is no Wishes on the schedule. It's not a MNSSHP night either but there is one the next night.

What I am thinking is that the MK was rented out for a special event that night. Usually when this happens the park closes at 6pm to regular guests. They might have fireworks anyway that you would still be able to see from Sago Cay. I think you should ask your planner if they can find out for you what is going on and if there will still be fireworks that can be seen from Sago Cay. This way you can still have a dessert party there.

I also don't think you would be able to get away with wearing your bridal attire for the MNSSHP but you can also ask your planner about it and see what they think. Lots of adults dress up for the party's I'm just not sure if any of them wear bridal attire.

Wedding dress + sneakers = Runaway bride costume
