I've been keeping track of the times as they've been released as we will be at DLR between Nov 8 and 14... The times for Nov 11 went up last night at it's listed as 8-12 with an early entry of 7am for DL and 8-10 for DCA. This appears out of step for usual Wednesdays that I've seen, is this likely to be a mistake or could this be genuine and coinciding with an event or something?

Not too bothered, will just affect our plans for the day slightly (Wed is normally a DCA early entry day right?)

That is Veteran's Day. Maybe Disney is expecting huge crowds that day????

ah... I am not so familiar with American holidays so I wasn't aware.

touringplans has that day down as a 2/10 for crowds.. so I don't know. I guess we'll see if the times are updated tonight when they post the 12th :)

I agree that it's probably due to Veteran's Day. I scanned a few of the Southern California school district calendars (LAUSD, San Diego, Orange, Long Beach) and many school districts have the day off. Only the SoCal Select AP is blocked that day, so they're probably expecting a fairly good crowd.

It is rembrance day in canada and that is a stat holiday for most provinces as well. Veterans day has always had longer hours than the rest of the week, just not usually as long as 8-12. So far all of November has longer hours than it has in the past. I think all the 60th celebration has really brought in a lot of crowds this year, and disney is adjusting their schedule accordingly. What i think is weird is early entry to disneyland that day when normally it is CA on Wednesdays. I'm wondering if this has to do with the marathon happening that weekend.

If you look at Touring Plans historical crowd levels for Vet's Day last year they predicted a 4 but "what they saw" was actually an 8. That is about what I would expect for a mid-week holiday that almost everyone has off.

Good to know. We are staying for a week so it might actually be a good day to go off-parks and explore DTD and surrounds, maybe check out the other hotels (we are staying at the GCH). We have tickets to the hockey that night so we can avoid the parks altogether if it looks like it'll be busy.

Ahhhh... Thursday has DCA early entry. So they've basically swapped the days around. Might have to shuffle a few things around.....
