Park hours, planning pages and shopping!

We are heading out Nov/Dec this year and I was wondering how far in advance park opening hours are generally released?

Also, can anyone recommend some good planning pages? I've used Touringplans in the past but am not a paid member anymore. We've been a handful of times as adults, last time in 2011. This will be my 1st time taking a toddler, but my DD turned 4 on our last trip so its not our 1st time with kids.

Lastly, shopping! What/where is the nearest non Target/Walmart to AKL? We arrive on Thanksgiving but will need to pick up some nappies and snacks for the toddler over that weekend and I really dont want to hit the big stores ideally.

Passporter's Guide to WDW is a really nice book and not as heavy reading. It has great pull out planning pages and color photos in it.

With the age of your children, have you looked at Kenny the Pirate's website as well? That will be of great benefit to you if you are planning character greetings.

Park hours are out approximately 6 months in advance, usually a little more than that so you'll have them before you make ADRs

Can't help with the shopping. Useless in that dept as I order online.

Park hours for November should be available around the end of this month.

As far as shopping, if you only want to buy nappies and some very basic grocery items to get you through the first couple of days, AKL will have a convenience store where you will be able to buy most of the basics.

Alternatively, a company like Garden Grocer will deliver, which will save you having to even stop on the way from the airport. A third option is the Hess garage near Downtown Disney (or there is also one opposite Boardwalk resort).
