Park Hours on DLR Website: Accurate?

Park hours are listed as 10AM-8PM on 9/4, the day after Labor Day, yet there are two WOC times at 9PM and 10:15PM.

What gives?

That does seem odd. Maybe it's a typo? If it was only one WOC scheduled after closing, it would make sense -- they might close the park to all who aren't watching the show. But for 2 to be scheduled after closing seems odd.

I have a Woc dinner package for 9/5 and was told the show would be at 8:15pm.

I just posted the same question in the WOC thread. I expected WOC to be at 8, maybe 8:15. I think its got to be a typo on the show times. Unless they decided to keep DCA open late in Sept to capture Carsland crowds. Would be awesome but sounds unlikely.

Actually, last night the DL website was showing 9 and 10:15 for both 9/4 and 9/5. Are you looking at the DIS site?

So as of this morning the DL Park Hours & Calendar site has no schedule past August. Like it was removed overnight?!!? I really hop they are correcting an error and it will be back up. I was hoping to figure out parks and show timing this weekend so I can change some dining reservations.

Thanks. For some reason when I click that link I can see it, but then my browser defaults back to the July dates and the monthly doesn't show Sept. I can't go back to view the Sept daily view then. Tried on 2 different browsers (Chrome and IE) so I don't think its a cookie issue or anything. Its as if they posted the dates and then removed them.

I hope so. I expected them to be "official" this week. We'll be one month out next week so I figured I could reshuffle my dining res's based on EE and show schedules this weekend. Oh well, patience is clearly a requirement for planning with DLR right now.

I feel your pain - I'm in the same boat. Our dates are 4-7 September, and I'm holding out hope that they'll extend park hours given the new popularity of DCA.

That would be a perfect surprise! We arrive 9/3 and decided to drive down earlier to spend some of that day in the park now, based on the ride closures and night time shows. (My DS is a train lover so we want to do Casey Jr. before it shuts down. At least that's my justification to DH.)

For a second when the schedule was wonky I thought I saw Thurs night with F! and extended hours, but I think that was a glitch (it was tonight's schedule). The buggy schedules make me wonder if DLR is still figuring out how they want to handle that week. Its the first week where hours shorten and maybe with the CL crowds they are considering something different this year?

Let's hope! That's usually a very slow week after Monday, so who knows what they'll do. I'll certainly enjoy the "empty" parks, even if the hours are shortened.

That is exactly why we are going. I'm ok with shorter days and a few closures since we have two little ones. Now I figure I'll have the best of both worlds being there on busy Labor Day and the quiet week after.
