Park Hours Not Out at 180?

Next Tuesday marks 180 days for me, but at the rate Disney is releasing park hours, we won't know what the park hours will be for our trip by then. How can you confidently make ADRs if you don't know which days you'll be at each park? This especially worries me since we will not be getting hoppers. I can make an educated guess and book some ADRs, but I'm worried that then hours will be released and if I need to change an ADR it won't be available when I go to rebook. Any advice?

Yes, quite frustrating.

By and large, unless impacted by Extra Magic Hours, Disney has been following a Park schedule that is simply: Open @ 9am.

Extra Magic Hours follow a pattern as well.

Of course, Pandora: World of Avatar has caused some adjustments to Park opening times there - with 8am becoming possible. Magic Kingdom is also known for 8am openings (that are not Extra Magic Hours), but mostly surrounding busy holiday/spring break times.

The time a Park closes should not matter for making ADR's.

But now the 'special events' like fireworks, dining packages, etc.....Disney still has not scheduled (or made available) many of these for even November yet. I make ADR's for those days anyway and wait to 'rebook' when Disney can turn my 'normal' ADR into a 'special event'.

That's why I come to Dis'Boards - these folks often make more timely announcements than Disney.

Thank you! Because we're going during an "off" time, certain nighttime shows will only be on certain nights, and we only have 4 park days so I want to make sure I plan the right park for the right day. If anything I guess we'll do fewer ADRs and make sure those are at resorts or Disney Springs. Or hope there is availability left if I wait until the whole week of hours is released.

they release them as generic... then you have to keep checking to see if they extend hours. its hard to judge. basically you do your best with what you have available. I usually check previous years park hours to see what the trend is during my visit
