We haven’t been to Disney in five years. It used to be that as we got closer to our trip - and many times during the week we’re there - the park hours would be extended. Is this still the case? We’re going in October, the week of Columbus Day. From what I’m reading, it will be pretty crowded, especially CD weekend, and the weekend after as well, with slightly more moderate crowds in between. If this is the case, are the parks likely to stay open later than currently published? Right now, the parks are all closed by 8 or 9pm, with the exception of 10pm for two days at Epcot, and one evening EMH at Epcot until 11pm. Hollywood Studios and AK close at 8pm every day. MK...MNSSHP five nights that week, 9pm the other nights. And as reported, the only place with evening EMH is that one night at Epcot. I’m hoping that if the crowds do end up being a lot heavier than they’ve been when we used to go at this time of year, that the park hours will be extended in kind. I feel like I’m going to be set straight by those in the know, however...
