Park hours inMarch and tickets

I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on how late the parks will be open on March 26th which is a Wednesday. I'm debating about which tickets to purchase. We will be there two full days following our arrival into MCO at 6:15pm. Will there be time to do a ride or two that evening? I'm not sure if we'll just take it easy and go for a swim at the resort and a bite to eat or if we'll attempt one of the parks. The best price I've found is on Universal's site for the five day hopper for $89.95 (kids $77) but I don't need all those days. I think all we really want is two days but I'm unsure what kind of ticket to buy. Should we just wait and get tickets at the front desk at the hotel? How much do the two day hoppers cost there?
