Many on this board have said that they want their longer park hours back. I know in the 70s & 80s the parks were open very late, but when did the decrease occur?

I have copied a portion of Deb Wills' weekly email here relating to WDW circa 1995...

-----quote-----

This month we consulted Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 1995 -- The
Official Guide and found some interesting tidbits:

PARK HOURS: Epcot was usually open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the
Magic Kingdom from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Disney-MGM Studios
from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (EDITOR'S NOTE: I didn't realize the
parks all opened later back then!)

-----end of quote----

Back in 95, the hours were about the same as they are now. Interesting.

When did E-Nights start? One of the complaints is that E-nights may have replaced longer park hours.

I'll say with FP I'm probably seeing as much as I did with the longer park hours.

E-nights began in the mid 90's (94 or 95 I beleive).
