When are park hours typically in May?

We will be there the week of May 10th and I'm wanting to make PS for a couple character breakfasts... it would be helpful to know when Disneyland actually opens...

thoughts?

www.laughingplace.com has last years hours, this years aren't available yet.
I think it's roughly 9am-9pm for DL, 10am-6pm for DCA, longer hours for the weekend

yep, fridays - sundays are typically 8am til 12am....TYPICALLY.

i looked on laughingplace and in 2008, the hours were 10am - 8pm monday thru thursday of the same time we will be there in may of this year...so i'm expecting somewhat the same hours.

the disneyland website will have may 2009 hours posted probably sometime in april...

If you compare the hours from April 2008 with the hours from this year, it looks like the parks will be open longer this year than last year. I wonder if the same trend will hold for May hours.

ooooh!!!!!!! i hope so!!!!!! *crossing fingers*

right now, my itinerary is based on 10am - 8pm hours during the first week of may (mon-thurs)...and there is just NOT enough time to do everything we want to do!!!

We will be there from May 3-9. I recently made priority seating for a Monday night at Wine Country Tratorria in DCA at 4:50 pm. This is the last seating as the park closes at 6:00 pm. I also made priority seating at Plaza Inn for Tuesday morning at 9:10 am. This is the first seating there. I can't wait for the hours to come out.

Well, from redsox's post it sounds like the hours might indeed be longer than 10-8. I don't care if the parks open earlier in the morning, but I would really like them to stay open an hour later at night -- if they close at 8:00, it won't be dark yet!

Forgot to mention that I made priority seating at Blue Bayou in DL for 6:00 pm on the same Tuesday as the Plaza Inn. I took this time because it was the latest one they had left.

Keep in mind though that Easter was in March in 08 and is in April in 09, thus making peak spring break in March last year and peak spring break in April this year. That is the reason for the longer hours in April this year.
