Park hours first week of April

I know the hours were just updated for that week and may change again as we get closer. I understand that MK will move opening to 8 am during the busy times.

Does Disney ever change Epcots opening hours to 8 am during busier times of year as well?

Yes.
But, more often, they will simply open at 8:30AM without any kind of public announcement.

This is why I always recommend getting to the parks at least 35-45 min. before the posted opening time.
