Park Hours/Fireworks Nights?

Hi everyone! This November will be my first visit back to DL since 2007...I'd gone lots of times 2004-2007 when I was fortunate enough to be so close while going to college in San Diego...it feels like it has been forever since I've been, so I'm so excited to go back this year even though its only for a short stay of 2 nights before we go down to San Diego for a few days. My question is, since park hours are not even close to being available for November yet, how will I make my plans in the meantime? I'm mainly concerned with the fireworks in DL...are they offered every night of the week or only certain nights? I hope they will be on at least one of the 2 nights (we are going Tuesday 11/10 and Wednesday 11/11).

Also, as a side note, has anyone been to DL on Veteran's day? that is one of the days we'll be there...since many schools have off, is it super crowded?

We went during November in 2005, which obviously wasn't recently. But they did schedule the fireworks every night however they were cancelled all three nights we were there due to the Santa Anna winds.

I really had my heart set on the fireworks and I about let it ruin my trip. So I guess my point is: go, enjoy, hope, but don't count on anything and don't let one missed/bad thing ruin your trip.

You might be in luck for Fireworks because November 11th is Veteran's Day.

Though, at the same time, the park will be packed.
