I will be at WDW the week before President's Day. I have only been at Easter and in the summer before and am wondering can anybody help me with park hours. I will be there with a friend and her daughter and it is their first visit to the world. Do they have the fireworks at MK and Spectromagic like they do at busy times? Also will they get to see Fantasmic?
Thanks
Tracy

We went in 2003 the week before President's Day. The hours were pretty much until 7pm at MK and MGM. They ran Fantasmic every night still. Spectro, however only was shown once during the week we were there. The crowd levels were incredibly low. However, it could be attributed to the bad economy at the time as well as the impending war w/ Iraq. There were many rides we just walked onto during the middle of the day!!!

The weather is great for park touring, but not for swimming. It was in the high 60's- low 70's most days. But we didn't see any rain-- other than our arrival afternoon!!! We ate at many places w/o PS's too!! It was one of our best trips due to the lack of crowds!!

We were there the week before President's Day this year and it was like kilee described. Parks closed earlier, Spectro on Saturday only. Wishes and Fantasmic were still on every night. Crowds were light.

It was FREEZING on Feb 8. We were wearing jackets, gloves, and ear warmers. Feb 9 - 13 were nice as it warmed up quite a bit. We wore shorts and t-shirts. On Feb 14, it rained a lot.

Enjoy!
