Park Hours Changing for April?

We will be at Disney the first full week in April (the 2nd through the 9th) with our planned MK day on Tuesday, April 5. Current posted park hours for that day are 9:00 AM until midnight.

However, from looking at historical information, MK has opened at 8:00 AM that week. I would imagine this is to accommodate spring break crowds.

Does anyone know if the park hours are going to change and, if so, when they will change? Thanks!

They haven't even changed March yet for Easter so I'm starting to wonder.

How can you find out if park hours have changed? Do you just have to check back on the posted hours on the website/app ... or is there a way to sign up to be notified?

Yup.

And, the hours and events posted 6 months in advance WILL change.
They change them, often multiple times, as your dates approach.
I'd recheck at least weekly.

Just check the app the week before you go, because ours changed in Oct. the week before we left.

The first week of April usually has Easter either the weekend directly before or just after, making this a high crowd week. Easter is a week earlier this year. How will that impact the crowds/ hours?

For our Thanksgiving trip they changed the hours a couple of weeks before we left.

Unless something changes (and with Disney it is always possible) that week has always been MK 8am with 7am EMH for the entire week. I would plan for this and adjust as needed. Monitor the travel agent calendar or some of the sites mentioned by PP's

Yes, this is one reason why we decided it would be okay to go during our spring break - because Easter weekend doesn't fall on either end of that week. The only planning site I follow regularly is WDW Prep School, and she has that week as pretty low crowds. I wonder if the week before will be the big spring break travel week, due to the date of Easter? If so, maybe park hours will stay the same?

I always check the hours the week before and add them to my planning spreadsheet. They can still change even the day of, but a week before they have usually settled mostly.

For sure! I will be disappointed if the hours roll back because we have 8:10 BOG reservations and I don't want to "waste" morning park touring time eating. On the other hand, I want my mom to get the chance to eat at BOG. I think I'll start looking for lunch reservations!

This is also the reason WE decided to go during our spring break, LOL. I'm hoping the crowds are manageable.
