If hopping from a nonmonorail park to a monorail park, or vice versa, how are you supposed to do this? I did not see any buses from MK to AK or MGM. I asked the bus driver from MK to the BWV and he said that there were no park to park buses. You had to go to a nearby hotel, or the TTC, and then switch to a boat or bus. So without a car is the so called park hopping benefit not really very easy? AK to MGM for example?

I think there are park to park busses except at MK, where you'd transfer from monorail at TTC.

Unless things have changed since last January, I know you can take a bus from AK to MGM which then goes on to Epcot (I think during busy times, there are buses from AK directly to Epcot). To travel from MGM to Epcot, just walk over to Boardwalk and go in the International Gateway entrance. From AK to MK, the bus driver said you'd have to go to TTC and change to Monorail.

I think you misunderstood him, or vice versa. With a few exceptions there are no resort to resort buses. The transportation system is designed to get you from a resort to a park, and then from park to park if you want. The TTC is the main hub for going from park to park. From there you can get to any park and DD, either by bus or monorail. There are also park to park buses from Epcot to Studios, and Epcot to AK, and Studios to AK. Park hopping is fairly easy.
