park hopping??

this may seem like a dumb question but if i am at the magic kingdom in the morning then go to epcot then take a break at the hotel on site and then can i go back into the magic kingdom if i have the park hopper are the tickits based on days and not numbers..
example...first day out I go to the magic kingdom then epcot then resort and when i go back to the magic kingdom it takes a new day so that i only have 3more days left on my card i have the 5 day park hopper pass does it go by days can i go back and forth back and forth whenever and many times over and over should i get my hand stamped do the tickits only go by days like mondays tickit is monday and can be used any way i want?? sorry for this dumb question but this is my first trip to disneyworld and i have no clue.please explain park hopper too me in simply terms and thanks ahead of time i knew i could count on the great peaple here to help me out

If I understand you correctly, you're asking if you could go to several parks, even the same parks, the same day? The answer is yes, just get your hand stamped before you head out. Visiting WDW the first time is so overwhelming, ask all the questions you want! Sorry, I should have added that only one day will be used on your ticket!

If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can "hop" between the 4 park all day long if you want (water parks are not included in this). The Park Hopper does not "count" the number of times you go between the parks.

If you don't have the hopper tickets, you can only go to one park per day. You can't use one day to go to MK in the morning, then use another day to go to Epcot that afternoon. The computer system will reject the non-hopper ticket as already being used that day.

Since all tickets are now biometric there is no need for a hand stamp anymore.

As was stated, the park hopper will allow you to go to all 4 parks in one day if you'd like. I've done it.

In the past, you got a hand stamp when you left a park. When you used your park hopper to come back to that or another park, you needed a valid ticket plus a hand stamp. People with AP did a biometric scan of their fingers (many people think it's a fingerprint, but it's not). In Jan. 2005, they changed to all tickets needing a finger scan - so no more stamps.

When you use your tickets, you insert your fingers into a biometric machine. The information from the finger scan goes into the computer. The next time you use your ticket, your fingers are scanned again and the 2 scans are compared.

It is clearer to understand that not only is no handstamp "needed"...

There are NO LONGER ANY HANDSTAMPS AVAILABLE at WDW.

There are no stamps or pads at the exits, so you don't need to worry about those anymore.

If you put your hand on the ground right next to me, I'll be happy to stamp on it for you... No charge!

And THAT "hand-stamp" can get you into the hospital over in Celebration, FL.

(Most folks don't ever get to try THAT attraction.)

In January, they did not even do the hand stamp because your tickets are identified through the TAG system. It can determine if it has already been used earlier in the day and it will not remove another day. So go and just have fun.

But what about all those out-of-work "hand-stamp CM's"?

Its sad to think that we all go on having fun and some unfortunate soul who has honed the skills of "stamping" goes without a job.

Maybe they could find work with the USPS "cancelling" stamps on letters!
