Park Hopping with Monorail Question

On the last day of our trip we plan on hopping from Epcot to MK around lunchtime. I was wondering what time the monorail that goes from MK to Epcot opened in the morning. I was planning on driving to and parking in MK around 8, then hopping on the monorail to go to Epcot. Then go back to MK for the 2nd half of the day. This way I would only have to drive to one park as opposed to two. Any other suggestions or ideas would help. Thanks guys!

Well, I don't know the answer for sure but ya gotta figure that the monorail is going to open in time to get guests from the monorail resorts to Epcot in time for its opening. Depending how busy a time you are going, I would just plan to get to the monorail (TTC) a half hour to hour before Epcot FW opens.

You might post this in the Transportation forum also. Chip 'n Dale Express usually knows all these timing answers but I'm not sure what forums he monitors (I know he's in that one though).

You'll be fine. I believe the monorails start running at least an hour prior to prak opening.

I know that the resorts monorail starts running at 7am daily. I don't know how early the Epcot run starts. It probably depends on if it's EMH that morning at Epcot. I would guess that it would start running to Epcot about an hour before scheduled opening.
