I just easily added to my January tickets!![]()
Im assuming they'll use mde to let people know if another park is at capacityCan you please explain this to me? I am confused- it says you need a reservation for the first park, but you DON'T need a reservation to the second park, but there could be capacity limits? That sounds contradictory. How would you know if the 2nd park is at capacity? Do you just show up and hope for the best?
See below, copied from the email we all just received. HELP!
- At this time, a park reservation is not required after the first park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change. The ability to visit another park will be subject to the park’s capacity limitations and applicable pass blockout dates.
Whatever park you have a reservation for you're guaranteed to get in at whatever time.If you have a res for HS and take an afternoon break, do you have a guaranteed spot to get back into HS later that night?
That will be interesting to know how they will keep track of capacity. They have to assume that everyone that left will eventually come back to that park if they are keeping your spot in the count towards capacity just in case you return later. If you enter another park that would free up your spots at the original park but I wonder if MDE is that smart.Whatever park you have a reservation for you're guaranteed to get in at whatever time.
Exactly! We're Epcot resort people and almost every night we wander over to Epcot for a drink/snack. This is a step in the right direction. This will help Epcot. When we are able to return, this helps us as we stay at an Epcot resort and it would be painful to not be able to walk over to Epcot in the evening to eat and wander around.
I suspect it'll be based on park-reservations moreso than counting entry/exits. In other words - if DHS has no park reservations available for the day, I wouldn't expect to be able to hop there in the afternoon. But we'll see, that's just my assumption. That will be interesting to know how they will keep track of capacity. Good point. I wasn't thinking about it that way.I suspect it'll be based on park-reservations moreso than counting entry/exits. Yep, they're definitely going to account for the park reservations. It might be tough though because if you decide to hop somewhere, there's always going to be a chance they turn you away since they could reach capacity from other hoppers - entry is not guaranteed, only for the park you made a reservation forI suspect it'll be based on park-reservations moreso than counting entry/exits. That was most likely on purpose. No way they were going to test this out during a busy season like Christmas. January is the perfect time to work out the kinks as it’s usually a slower time. One month too late.
