Park Hopping Question

We have a 5 day trip coming up. I would like to go to each park for a day and 2 parks on one of the days. I know that we would need park hoppers, but can we purchase 6 park day tickets and use 2 of the tickets on the same day? If this is possible it would save $300.

I do not think I understand part of your question "purchase 6 park day tickets and use 2 of the tickets on the same day". With park hoppers, you only need 1 ticket per day.

No, you cannot take a second "day" of a multi-day non-hopping ticket to hop with.

Now, you are allowed to do such things as , come from Epcot with your non-hopping ticket and, at an appropriate hour, use your Merry Christmas Party ticket to enter Magic Kingdom. (You do not need any other ticket to go with your party ticket.)

You could theoretically purchase 5 day tickets and a 1 day ticket and use the 1 day ticket on the same day as one of the 5 day ticket days, but I doubt that would be cheaper.

Bad things can happen in this situation if you put several separate tickets into your My Disney Experience account for future trips. If you accidentally or intentionally tried to park hop with a non-hopping ticket, the system will activate another separately purchased ticket upon your entering a second park, and both tickets will expire during or shortly after this vacation.
