Park-hopping on my last day EPCOT -> MK with a car

I'm staying at Art of Animation. The last day I am starting at EPCOT and ending at MK, which is open an hour later than EPCOT. Then that night I am moving to a hotel near the airport.

I'm thinking my best play here is to park at the TTC and take the monorail to EPCOT, then take the monorail to MK in the afternoon, then monorail back to my car outside the TTC at the end of the day and drive to the airport hotel. Is this the best plan?

I guess the alternative is to leave my car at Art of Animation and bus to EPCOT, monorail to MK, and bus back to Art of Animation before driving to the airport hotel.

When I have a car I generally drive to the parks, since parking is free for resort guests. I like the park at TTC and monorail around idea, I enjoy the monorail ride to Epcot.

That sounds like a good plan. You can park at Epcot if you wanted and then go back to your car after Magic closes. There will be the monorail to TTC and then a bus in load zone 19 to Epcot.

Would they still be running if I left MK at 10pm when it closed, and EPCOT closed at 9pm?

Yes. Disney will not strand you. There is always a bus to get guests back to their cars from the parks.

One added note on getting back to your car at the TTC when leaving the MK at the end of your park day. You can choose between the monorail and the boat for that trip, since transportation can be very crowded as people leave the park. You can decide which looks like the best option when you’re making your way out.

Personally, I would not want to deal with getting to EP at the end of the night. I think your TTC plan is best.

If it will be warm out I’d leave the car and take Disney transport because I would not want to leave my luggage to roast in the FL heat.
