With park reservations gone for the masses, what is your best advice on park hopping the week of Christmas and New Years? I may be in the minority, but I liked being able to make park reservations and know that I am guaranteed entry and attendance is capped.

When a park reaches whatever threshold Disney makes, then guests get turned away probably like they did prior to Covid. I’m guessing those who still have to make reservations like AP will still be let in as long as it’s not in their blackout period. For your time period, that would only be the top tier AP.

I think the only days it will be an issue would be 12/24, 12/25 and 12/31. The days in between that should be fine. I think those three days are usually the only days I've heard of parks being at capacity, and usually only MK.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that you always have access to the first park you tapped in to for the day. If that is still the case, I would tap into the park you are likely to hop to later in the day first, then go to another park early in the day. This way, you can still go back to your 'first' park.

The other strategy would be to have a dining reservation in the park you 'think' might end up being unable to hop to. Proof of a dining reservation will get you in.
