Park Hopping and Security

Is security on the concourse between the parks or do you go through security to get to that concourse? I guess what I'm really wondering is how much of a process is it to get from one park to the other. I know it's close but I'm wondering if it's just showing your tickets or the whole bag check thing.

No. You only go through security once at either end.(DTD, Harbor) You can hop from one park to the other seamlessly save for standing in line for admission.

To add, you can even go basically all the way through Downtown Disney and still be in the security bubble, provided you don’t go into one of the hotel’s grounds.

Its a 2 minute walk from park to park and a bit more from either security checkpoint.
