Park Hopping after AK

Hi all,

I'm after some advice on which park would be best to hop to after AK. I'm visiting AK on 8/14 and it closes at 7pm.

My options are to go to MK which closes at midnight, DHS which closes at 10pm or EPCOT which has EMH until 11pm.

I will be visiting all the parks separately over the following few days but want to get some value out of my park hopper ticket.

Any advice or suggestions, including which park would be the easiest to get to (or conversely which is too much of an effort), would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :earboy2:

They're all probably equally easy to get to. Just hop on a bus from AK. Geographically, MK is the farthest away, and DHS is closest.

Will you stay at AK until closing? Will you be eating dinner there? If not, I would head to the park where I most wanted to eat dinner. There's a lot more options in Epcot.

Are you an evening show aficionado? If so, choose the park with the show you most want the option to see more than once.

Are you planning just to hit rides, rides, and more rides? Then, MK has the most options and the longest hours. Generally, MK is the park where I always wish I had more time.

Are you planning an early morning the next day? How late do you want to stay out? DHS would force you into the earliest evening so you are fresher the next day.

Honestly, you can't lose any way. Have fun!

If you are hopping to EP for dinner in WS, take a bus to BC or BW and enter through International Gateway.

I would pick Epcot.

I would as well. Animal Kingdom has a bunch of things to see and do so you will be going through a lot of views. Epcot would be great to have dinner there (table service or just snack around World Showcase) and just relax. Since FastPasses are limited to only one park, you wouldn't have FastPasses for your second park and you can just stroll World Showcase or, take in the Living Seas, Imagination, the movies around the Showcase, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Spaceship Earth (on the way out) or even Mission Space if an easy entrance.

Can't help you, but perhaps I can give you an alternative. The early closure of AK (coupled by the fact that we usually are "done" with the park by 4:00), makes our AK day the perfect day to go back to the resort, shower off the dirty Kali Rapids water, change into some nice clothes, and go to a Signature restaurant for a nice meal. For us, rather than hop to a different park, we "hop" to California Grill, or bluezoo, or Victoria & Albert's or Citricos. Maybe that might interest you.
