Park Hoppers or MVMCP

We will be in WDW from 11/10 - 11/18. I'm struggling to schedule our park days because of the limited number of Wishes/MSEP. It seems there is no good day to attend MK to see Wishes/MSEP without a park hopper. I am considering purchasing tickets to MVMCP and skipping Wishes/MSEP. Ideally, we would purchase tickets to the party and park hoppers, but our budget only allows to choose one. So, my question is, which is a better investment...MVMCP or Park Hoppers? Also, can the Christmas parade and fireworks be a substitute for Wishes/MSEP? My daughters are 12 and 10 and this is our second trip. They were 3 and 5 previously, and don't remember much. They aren't huge parade fans in general, but I don't think they realize how much better a WDW parade is than what we have locally. ha ha

Have you done the Christmas party before? If not do the Christmas party as it's less crowded, a different experience, and you can ride attractions with little to no wait.

I personally think that a Park Hopper is a waste of money, but if you want to see both then make sure you do a two day magic kingdom as both are unique.

I'd do the Christmas party - MSEP isn't anything to special IMO

I decided to forgo park hoppers this year and use that money to go to MVMCP for the first time, instead. But, I have enough days on my trip that I should be able to see Wishes & MSEP as well. You can probably find videos for Holiday Wishes and the holiday parade on line to watch and see if you think they would be a substitute for you.

Holiday Wishes can definitely substitute for seeing regular Wishes. I actually like it better. MSEP is a unique thing but we have missed it some years and didn't really mind whereas I would definitely miss attending MVMCP! I would recommend going to MVMCP. The Christmas parade is really something to see.

I would choose MVMCP, we got used to touring without hoppers and prefer it. It seems like a lot more planning with MB for us to hop, I know it should make things spontaneous but it doesn't to a OCD planner.

One of my best trips was one without hoppers. I think we saw more and had more free time. That year we only had 3 full 2 half days. We have gone several times adn have rarely watched the parade.

I think I would also choose MVMCP. The parade and fireworks are different than any other time of year, so that's a special thing for them to remember. And it SNOWS on Main St!! There are also characters in the park that you can't meet any other time. Do the party!!

We always used to get park hoppers, but skipped them on our last trip, our first with FP+. Goal was to use 3 FP+ early, then get additional FP at kiosks as early as possible. Seeing Wishes (either one) would be more important than hopping, and you can see/do everything without park hoppers.
