Park Hoppers on Resort Card

I read on the Resort Board something about having your Park Hoppers put on your Resort Card. I'm assuming that means your resort key would also be your hopper pass? If that is correct, do the hoppers have to be purchased at WDW? We are purchasing the buy 1 get half off Canadian passes before we leave -- can they be added to our resort card once we check in? <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

We just kept our (regular) parkhopper passes and room keys separate, and didn't find it inconvenient at all. If you actually want them put on your room key, though - anyone done this with the Canadian passes?

I'm sure they can be added - plus having one card for everything is so much easier. If you are staying at Disney resorts you can also use the card to charge purchases and meals. It's a pretty handy thing!
