Park Hopper

i will say this. Each park is an experience in the morning, but should also be experienced at night as well. Being in a single park all day long is too much. you must take a break.

get the hoppers. plan a morning in each of the parks.......take a break mid day.......then go to a different park that night......

a 4 day hopper will let you see each park in the moring and each at night.....any days beyond 4.....just use those for your favorite parks

I have never understood why people argue that you waste too much time when hopping from one park to another but have no problem queueing for an hour or more. The bus, walk, boat, monorail ride from one park to another can be a nice way to have a relaxing break as you hop in my opinion.

.

agree 100%....maybe it is because we have been soooooooooo many times. but we dont "chase" the rides. we relax, and when we walk by an attraction...if the wait is low, and we are in the mood....we enter the que.

We can only do the parks 4 hours at a time before we need to go for a swim or do something else. so hopping is a must.

I agree with those folks who say you don't really need park hoppers unless you have specific plans for them. We usually stay in an Epcot area resort because Epcot is my kids' favorite park. Since we like to hop back to Epcot we do get hoppers in this case.

When we stay offsite, we have found more than enough to do in one park each day and do not get hoppers because of the added expense.

Instead of leaving the park we relax mid day by have a nice, relaxing sit-down lunch. It lets us recharge and rest without spending time (and energy) leaving the park - and without going through security again too.

We always find so much to do at Epcot, but if you find not enough to do, you could always exit through the IG to the Boardwalk and do some activities there in the afternoon. You could also walk over to BC for a fun ice cream stop at Beaches and Cream walk up window.

For our family, when staying off site, I don't think the extra few hundred dollars for park hoppers would be worth it.

When we started going in the early nineties, park hopping and no expiry were part of the basic tickets and I got used to the freedom to go from park to park at will. When they started magic your way, I really missed that and added it on. Not all parks take tons of time to go between. EPCOT and Disney Studios is a boat ride, albeit a slow boat. But even though it takes time, I feel like it's a nice break going from one to the other. Usually Magic Kingdom is a full day, but I have hopped out to another park when it was crazy busy on March break. Also as I said before, I usually like to end my day at EPCOT. Whatever you decide, remember you can add park hopping at any time during your trip if you decide you need it.

I do the Park Hopper every time. If you don't mind the cost, I would encourage you to get it. All it will do is give you more options.
