We are renting dvc points for our September trip.
And suggestions for the best/cheapest option to purchase our park tickets?

I checked the link through WDWprep and they were the cheapest I found. $. 741 for a 7day adult PH
UC tourist was $815

Has anyone used WDW Prep to purchase tickets? (Park savers)

That is for 2 adults I'm assuming. Be sure WDWPrep includes fees. $849.88 through Disney. Churning the gift cards at just 10% off (which will be very possible after the holidays due to Target gift cards selling for less ) would put you at $764.89 through Disney. I've churned for a percentage as high as 25%. My average is at about 18%. I've never used WDW Prep or even heard of them. I know UT is reliable and easy and you can get Ebates if you use them I believe. Disney is the cheapest but it takes a little bit of work.

Yes, 2 adults.
