does anyone know if I can change my 5 day park hopper ticket to a 6 day ticket once I arrive at Disneyland? I did this the last time we went but not sure if they still let you do it or not. Thanks.

I am not sure if they can upgrade the tickets but they have stopped selling 6 day tickets in the last few years.

The next level of upgrade from a 5-day PH is to the Annual Passport. DLR doesn't sell multi-day tickets longer than five days.

Can you upgrade a 4 day to a 5 day park hopper? If I get the 4 day discounted online, will I just have to pay the Disney gate price difference and not the difference from the discounted price?

4-5 day you can do. Upgrade is just the difference in cost. If you have plastic tickets wait until the end of the useage as the new one they give you will be paper and easier to destroy on water rides etc.
If you have not used the magic morning on your ticket, they will print a mm for your entire party to use for thee specific date you want.
Make sure the ticket holders are around when you do it. We tried to do them for our party without all present and they made us wait.
