Park Hopper Tickets Transferrable?

I thought I was finished planning for our trip next month, until Jay Leno tickets arrived in the mail today. If we have 3 day park hoppers from the CityPass, can my in-laws use our passes one day to take our two daughters to Disneyland while DH and I go to Jay Leno?

Park rules say NO, but as long as you don't make a big deal out of it, and they are the only ones that use it in a day, then you're set.

When I lost my park ticket, the lady at the lost and found gave me SOMEONE ELSES ticket, and used it like normal.

and according to all the Disney official I met, there is no way to track a name to the ticket, so there shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't both try to use the ticket in the same day.

but, don't go bragging about it or anything.

I wondered the same thing. In other words, no biometrics at Disneyland.

There are actually people selling DL tickets on e-bay... I mean the rest of their hopper pass. They buy an 8 day hopper pass and only use 4 or 5 days and then sell the rest on e-bay saying that it has to be used within a certain amount of time. I couldn't believe they were selling them. Now family, I can uderstand or even giving them away but to sell them...Wow, I would have never thought to do that!!
