Park hopper ticket question

Hello!!
I've just bought this from eBay and I'm not really sure about it ... do park hopper tickets look like this one? It looks to me like a plastic card ...
also is there anything special I have to do with this? like taking it to the ticket booth to get tickets in return or something else.

You need to have a higher post count before you can post a pic- I want to say at least 10 posts.

If its a plastic card I believe you'll want to take it to the ticket booth and exchange it. I'm guessing when you receive it, it will have instructions on it. Your actual park hopper will be a paper ticket. Sounds like what you bought is one of the "vouchers" that are often sold at grocery stores or the Disney store.

If it's a credit card looking ticket, it was most likely purchased at Disney Store. Maybe you can describe the picture on the front of the card?

It works just like a regular paper ticket. But it needs to be properly activated in order for it to be valid. When you buy the park hopper at the Disney Store, the cashier will have to activate the card (otherwise it's just a piece of plastic).

Some people reported having tickets that were inproperly activated, so they ended up having to show the receipt again at the entrance booth. This is why the back of the plastic tickets state "Please retain the original receipt as proof of activation."

If you bought a brand new unused plastic ticket, you might want to ask the ebay seller if he/she can also provide the receipt.

If you bought a used ticket, then you won't have a problem since you know the ticket has already been activated and used.

If it's a used ticket, then there's another problem--DLR tickets are only good from 13 days after the first use. Personally, I'd never buy theme park tickets from E-bay. Too easy to get scammed.

The seller says he's sending the receipt so I hope to have no problems.
I'm on tour as I like to say, I'll be visiting Magic Mountain, Knott's, both Disney parks and Universal Studios so it's nice to save a few bucks.

Well i'm off topic right now but, considering I'm going from 5th to 13th (don't count first and last days are those will be spent on a plane basically), which days would you recommend me to attend each park?

Yes, it's definitely a 2-day park hopper purchased from the Disney Store. Make sure the seller gives you the activation receipt so you are prepared for any problems at the entrance gate.

Yikes, you purchased the ticket from a seller with zero feedback. For future reference, if you feel compelled to buy DL tickets from ebay, consider buying from from a seller with more feedback. I hope you paid with a credit card via Paypal at least.

By 5th to 13th, I assume you mean November?

Wow...that is one packed tour.

I suggest you plan your Disneyland visit for either Friday or Saturday. These are the days of the week when DL closes later (12 midnight) and it's when you can catch the Fireworks Spectacular (generally at 9:25pm) and Fantasmic (usually at 9pm and 10:30pm). Unless there are some exceptions that I'm not aware of, firework is not available M-Th and Sun. These are shows not to be missed.

Luckily the Believe Holiday Magic fireworks goes on pretty much every night in December. But you want to make sure to hit Disneyland either Friday, Saturday or Sunday night as these are the only days you'll be able to catch Fantasmic (Fantasmic is blacked out M-Th). Plus DL closes later on Fridays and Saturdays.

You can do both the fireworks and Fantasmic on the same night. Usually the second show of Fantasmic is less crowded. So if your party doesn't mind staying up late, you can watch the fireworks in front of the castle, then hop on over to the Rivers of America for the second show of Fantasmic.

Bolding is mine. Not sure if it's different this year but last year in Dec. it was still the Remember fireworks, not Believe. They did still have snow and a reeeally awesome version of "white christmas" after but it was definitely the Remember fireworks.

The 80's ... Madrid was the center then, wild decade. It's so different now. I was born in 81 so the only memories I have from that time are cool and very trendy tv shows (artists of all kind had a little space on tv back then, not the like trashy celebs of today) and an intense club scene, my older cousins were out all the time hehe.
You should come back to Madrid, I recommend from 2007 Spring. A very big bunch of repairs and constructions are about to be finished by April - May 2007, the city will be in a very nice celebration mood! Also the city is so big now and we have such a huge public transport system that you can go anywhere you want to without a car.

I'm sure you notice what a proud "madrileño" I am I love tourists.

I always thought New York would come first, but it happened to be Los Angeles.

About the visit, well I chose December 'cause I really like to travel on Christmas time and see how Xmas is celebrated in different cities. Also my first Disney park was the one in Paris, it was at Xmas and I loved it, so I said to myself that the next time had to be at Xmas as well.
I'll take luckcooky's advice about watching the fireworks first and then heading to Fantasmic. Even though I have park hopper tickets I think I won't park-hop and just spend 1 whole day for each park.
