Park hopper specials

I have read someone that Disney offered a special buy one get one 1/2 price offer and an at par offer on park hoppers. How long ago was that and is there any chance this could be coming up again?

That's a new one to me. Love to hear where you heard that. If true, must have been a loooooooong time ago.

I think it's only available in Canada. There's a thread on the DVC board about ticket discount preferences in which someone mentioned it.

Perhaps the OP could check it out over there?
