Park Hopper question!!!

This will be my first trip to WDW. We got our base 7 day ticket (no hopper, and it expires 14 days after the first day we use it), through our airmiles. Can we upgrade them once we get there? Does anyone know how much that would cost? We will def. be hopping. The expiry is not as important to us, but would prefer to upgrade that as well. The more I read about these tickets, the more confused I get!!!!

Yes you can upgrade it at Guest Relations after you get to WDW.

Add hopping for $37.

Add non-expiration for $59. (regardless of how many days remain when you do it)

Add five plus visits for $48.

Add 8'th, 9'th, 10'th days all for $11. (plus another $48. for non-expiration).

Based on what I've read on the boards, yes you can upgrade, and I would *guess* they would charge the flat $35 hopper fee.

Thanks. So the $37 would be per person for the whole 7 days-not per day? Sorry for needing so much clarification. I'm new.

Yes the fee is per ticket. We bought a 7 day park hopper and almost went with the 10 day, but then we would have had to add no expiration. Now they have come out with 8 and 9 day tickets, so I could upgrade to an 8 day. We are going in June for 8 days. Hope this helped. These tickets are really great! A lot cheaper than the old ones.
