Park hopper plus

My kids have a 3 day park hopper plus pass, but will only be at parks 5 days
Can they use a waterpark the same day as a theme park or 2 waterparks in one day? If not, does anyone have suggestions on what to use the unused 3rd day? They will not have a car.
