Park Hopper Plus transferrable?

We are going to WDW with a friend in September and are going to get the Park Hopper Plus tickets because it is more cost effective for what we want to do. We are DVC members, so know we will use whatever is left over on future trips. Can we also buy from my friend whatever she doesn't use? Are the tickets transferrable in other words?

A friend of hers told her that they had their picture on there tickets and no one else could use them. Although, I don't think this is right, I thought I'd better double check with the experts before making this purchase...I mean even our APs don't have our pictures on them! Thanks!

Officially they are not transferable but there is no identification on them. No picture or name. AP's have names on them plus use the biometric scanner so they can't be passed off during the year. But park hoppers are only good for a set amount of days so I don't think they worry about enforcing it.

Park Hoppers never expire and anyone can use them. Many times, including this Christmas, our family has given and received these tickets as gifts. And many times, we have also used up unused days and Plus features from other tickets.

We've had plastic 'room-key' cards from AllStars with days and plusses left over and have used them on subsequent trips, also the cardboard kind purchased through discount internet sites, again, no problem using them on later trips. We'll be hitting PI every night on our March trip with the plusses from our new 7 Day Hoppers and 3 plusses from last Nov.

A. Please note that all multi-day Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets are nontransferable and must be used by the same person on any and all days. The person that uses the ticket for the very first time must use the ticket for its entirety. Any tickets that are transferred are in violation of this restriction are invalid for admission.
