We're going to be at wdw June 2-6 (arrive just before 3 on the 2nd and leave early June 7).

Possible schedule

Monday - check into Pop, then ?? Dd or a park?
Tuesday MK (dinner at CP)
Wednesday - HS (lunch at h&v- ds is Disney Jr obsessed) dinner at Chef Mickey's
Thursday- MK ( late breakfast at CRT)
Friday- Epcot (lunch at cr)

If we don't hop, we will miss AK. If we do, which day would it fit best? I have a 1 year old (non walker) and 4 year old. We plan on a lunch time/ early afternoon nap/pool break everyday.

At AK, I'd love to do the safari. Wish I could so that Monday evening, but it closes too early to make that work . We are using Disney buses for all transportation. We have 5 day base tix right now. Not sure if it's worth the $$ to upgrade to park hop.

Seasoned disney fan advice?

Is this your first trip?
Honestly, I'd probably skip AK for this trip. Your plan looks good and I don't know that the $60 each ticket is worth it to do a half day at AK. HOWEVER, if they end up extending AK's hours on your arrival date, I'd totally head over there that night. It would be worth adding a day to your ticket but I don't think it's worth a park hopper cost.

Besides, it gives you a reason to go back :thumbsup2

I think you're fine not hopping, but if you want to, i would do it your Hollywood day. I didn't find tons to keep my DDs (then 3 and just 1) busy for a while day at Hollywood. We could have done a day, but we saw everything we wanted with half a day there and spending the morning at AK (saw almost everything we wanted in half day at AK).

I love AK, so skipping it wasn't ok for me, we only had 3 days, and Hollywood had all the Disney Junior characters and the meal, so we couldn't skip that either.

I would say with your young children that Park Hop might not be the best option unless you were going to go to more then one park every day you are there. We got Park Hop last year with our 3 yr old and would go to one park in the morning then go back to our resort to rest for a few hours then returned to another park in the afternoon til close.

We are going back to Disney in June as well and are choosing not to hop this time and just dedicate each day to a Park.

Personally, I would skip AK. You can always go next time. With little kids PH is rough. We only just started doing it with our twins and they are now 6.

Have a great trip!

Here's what I would suggest. First, I would go ahead and add that extra day for arrival and add the hoppers. The day of arrival, I would head to Epcot for the evening. Do the WS and set that days FP+ for three things you most want to do in FW. All other days make you FP+ at your main park of the day. I would make Friday primarily a AK day. Maybe push back or skip naps that day and then do Epcot that evening for your dinner ADR and tour a bit more.I would also consider hopping to Epcot on Thursday after naps. My boys loved all the parks but when they were little , Epcot was better in smaller doses and they loved riding the buss so hoping was not hard at all. I also suggest being open to skipping naps a day or two if they are doing great and get a nap in the stroller and you plan to hop. Something about changing parks seems to reset the internal clock and they tend to do fine longer without a true break. Good luck and have fun!!!

With your kids ages, I would skip Epcot and do AK. Unless your kids despise animals, lol. I do like EP but there's really not much too excited there that your kids could do. Well there's some interactive things, but not worth it IMO to skip AK. They're too small for soarin, test track, etc. I would definitely do AK.

My original plan was epcot Monday (soarin or test track, Nemo, spaceship world) and AK Friday... Maybe I should go back to that. Soarin is a must do for me and DH wants to do test track. Ds is big enough at 45 inches. I'm not sure he'd like test track...

one thing I would change is your lunch at H&V and then dinner at Chef Mickey. I would try for a late breakfast at H&V instead of lunch, more time between those big meals. not sure you are going to be ready for dinner so soon after big lunch. as for your MK days, I would add one park day and the hoppers. on arrival day I would spend early evening at MK doing your 3 fast passes and eating at a counter serve dinner. keep your dinner at CP but spend morning at AK. leave around noon if going back to room or 1 or 2 if going straight to MK depending on when ressie is
