Park free morning - which to visit?

My husband is going to a conference at the Swan, and I'm tagging along. I'm doing a few park days, but have one morning/afternoon free before an conference sponsored Epcot dinner. What are your favorite resorts to visit, not stay?

In order of preference

Animal Kingdom Lodge
Boardwalk Inn
Grand Floridian
Wilderness Lodge
Polynesian
Ft. Wilderness

I'd vote for breakfast at Boma at the AKL followed by a visit out the back of the lobby to see if any giraffes or zebras are on the savanna (and talk with a CM if they are around.)

The GF is better in late Nov and Dec with the decorations. Or in the afternoon and evening when the band or pianist is performing (check times on MDE).

I also like the Boardwalk better in the early evening when the performers like magicians are rolling.

Another vote for Animal Kingdom Lodge. I also love the Grand Floridian and Polynesian.

I think I'd do either the AKL suggestion above, or hit the 3 resorts on the monorail loop

Great ideas, thank you! I have been to GF and Boardwalk for dining, so thinking AKL or Polynesian are sounding good. The monorail loop could be fun too.
