Park & Fly at JFK

Anyone have any experience with park and fly lodging at JFK? We'll be flying out at the beginning of August and the hotel prices for park and fly are $$$$. Can you recommend something to me? We'll stay on Friday night and come back on the following Saturday.

With the prices that I'm finding, I'm starting to think that a 3:00 a.m. pickup is in order from a car service that will take us to the airport and back home again. That way, I wouldn't have to fight the NYC traffic myself.

The only benefit to staying over is that I wouldn't have to get up so early, but I could sleep in the car on the way to the airport.

ACK! Any advice?

Those are better prices than what I'm seeing. Will the LaGuardia hotels drive us to JFK?

I doubt it but the same site shows the Holiday Inn near JFK for $212. You might also check other hotels in the zone. Call the local number for the hotel and see if they have an unpublished promotion. I guess you could use a AAA/Entertainment book discount for Avistar and book a hotel separately.

I'd be tempted to just go with the car service.

Don't stay at the Ramada - it's disgusting! Before you pick a hotel near JFK, check Trip Advisor for information - I wish I had.
